Common questions
How do I request a correction to a company profile?
Use the form above and tell us which company, which field on the page is wrong, and what the correct value is. Whenever possible, link to the public source that supports your correction (an FMCSA SAFER snapshot, a BBB record, the company's own website). Corrections that map to a named public source are reviewed and applied faster than corrections that rely only on the company's own claim.
Do you remove negative information for a fee?
No. Mover Scorecard does not accept payment to remove, hide, or soften public-records data. Complaint history, enforcement actions, BBB ratings, and FMCSA authority status appear on a profile because they appear in the public record. They come off the profile only if the underlying public record changes.
How long does a response take?
Most replies go out within two business days. Profile updates that require us to re-pull and re-score the underlying FMCSA data can take longer, especially when the request involves cross-referencing multiple sources. We will respond with the status either way, even if the answer is that we cannot make the requested change.
I have a complaint about a mover. Can you help me file it?
Mover Scorecard is not a regulator and cannot file complaints on your behalf. The federal channel is the FMCSA National Consumer Complaint Database for any interstate household-goods move. Most states also have a consumer protection office that handles intrastate moves. We can point you to the right channel for your situation if you describe the move in the form above.
My company is missing from the site. How do I add it?
Send the company's USDOT number, MC number, legal name, DBA, and a link to the company's website. We do not auto-publish missing companies on request. Each new profile goes through the same FMCSA-fetch and public-records review as every other profile on the site, and only publishes if the data passes the editorial gates documented on the methodology page.
